Saibal Baroi born on (20th December 1971) was a Social Development Professional with Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Service Ranchi. He had done his schooling from Bishop Westcott Boys' School, Namkum, Ranchi and he did his graduation in Commmerce (Accountancy - Honors) from St. Xaviers College, Ranchi.
He was a very enthusiastic, self-motivated, reliable, responsible and hard-working person. An impact oriented and results driven professional with 22 years’ experience and had mainly worked with leading agencies like CWD, CRY and CARE.
He had been proficient in leading national programmes; designed and managed country wide initiatives with expertise in working with government, alliances of civil society, community and donors; successful in designing programmes for marginalized social groups. He had been actively engaged in Influencing corporates, public policies and strengthening civil society engagement for sustainable socio-economic development around education, health, child rights, gender, nutrition and livelihood in India; with strong niche in leadership, networking, team building and presentations for working within multi-stakeholder environment.
His life objective was:-
1. To be part of an ecosystem that enabled him to implement projects/policies to the
last mile.
2. Lead national, regional or global teams to foster partnerships for change and secure livelihood, education gender
equality and children's rights aligned to economic growth.
In short, all his life, Saibal worked for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden.
